Thursday, June 12 – JOLTcon Youth Empowerment Conference

9:00 AM | For Oak Cliff, 907 E Ledbetter Dr., Dallas, TX

JOLTcon brings together eens for a day of inspiration, entrepreneurship, esports, and STEAM career connections, hosted at the For Oak Cliff Community Center. Every JOLTcon event is intended to spur ideas for change in positive ways. From entrepreneurship, environmentalism to ethics in technology, we encourage youth to ideate and explore solutions to problems they and society encounter on a regular basis. Ideas are fostered through workshops built to demonstrate how to bring a concept to life and ground the approach through peer review and conversation to build the brand. JOLTcon 2025 is set to empower and inspire the next generation of tech and creative entrepreneurs this summer on June 12th at For Oak Cliff.  JOLTcon is a free event designed for high school students that brings together industry professionals to mentor and lead workshops to help unlock pathways for youth in So. Dallas. This year’s event  is focused on the esports and gaming industry which is rapidly growing around the globe (and really resonating with teens as a career).

Friday, June 13 – Legacy Mixer at the African American Museum of Dallas

His legacy continues to inspire new generations to uplift, educate, and lead. This year, we are also thrilled to recognize Mr. Jerry Hawkins as our 2025 Legacy Award Recipient.
